This workshop will introduce a variety of ways to display photos in a host of formats\, whether it’s a photo album\, scrapbook or a combination of both. Participants can bring as many photos as they want and will enjoy four of uninterrupted work time with plenty of table space. SUMMARY:Raku Pottery
DESCRIPTION: Try this ancient form of Japanese pottery. For a small fee\, purchase one of the many pieces of pottery to glaze and decorate\, then watch the Raku firing process in action. Finished pottery will be ready to pick up later that day. While waiting during the pottery firing process\, enjoy an ice cream social from 1 to 2 p.m. provided by Colonial Cafe. All activities are included with park admission. Leisurely ride up and down the Fox River on the St. Charles Paddlewheel Riverboat to interpret ecological sightings. Learn the natural history of the Fox River as the scenery floats by\; spot local wildlife and ponder the impacts the river faces today as staff naturalists narrate the tour.
