Outdoor Education

School and special interest groups from Aurora, North Aurora and Montgomery are welcomed and encouraged to visit the center, free of charge, throughout the year. A naturalist may lead the program if arrangements are made well in advance of the visit.  Our programs will be correlated to the new core standards and many can be customized to fit your curriculum needs.

Schools located within the Fox Valley Park District may call to register for free programs for the entire school year beginning in August.  Out of district schools and special interest groups can call beginning after Labor Day; there is a $4 charge per student for a naturalist lead program.
