Shelter Reservations

The Fox Valley Park District has 17 picnic shelters located in parks throughout the District that are available to rent for family gatherings and special events. Shelters may be reserved from May 1 to the second weekend in October, weather permitting. Alcohol is not allowed at any park or park shelter with the exception of Cool Acres (with special permit and insurance). Note: Cool Acres reservations are only accepted at the Administration Office. If you wish to use tents, portable restrooms, moon jumps, dunk tanks, caterers or music at one of our parks, see Contracted Services.

Reservations are accepted for the season beginning on the first weekday in February (Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012) for groups of 25 or more. All paperwork and payment of fees are due at the time the reservation is made. All reservations require a $100 refundable security deposit and a $60 park rental fee. Security deposit fees are refunded by check via U.S. mail within 21 business days after your event, dependent upon the condition of the park where you rented.
