Live & Uncorked Summer Concert Series

Bring your wagons, chairs, snacks, and fav bevvies to enjoy an evening of great music at Blackberry Farm. The eight-performance concert series is a BYOB event that takes place on Thursdays at 7 p.m., featuring local bands and spanning genres like classic rock, pop, country, and more!

Cicada Social

Join your friends at Red Oak Nature Center to celebrate the emergence of Periodical Cicadas from their nearly two-decade slumber! It’s all things cicada, as we’ll collect specimens, listen to their call, answer questions, and host a cicada challenge. Participants will enjoy a special cicada-themed ice cream treat (themed not flavored)! It’s a party 17 years in the making!

Poolside Bingo

Grab a blanket and some buddies and head on over to Phillips Park Aquatic Center for a favorite game with a poolside twist. We’ll play different variations for the chance to take home fun summer-themed prizes! And, of course, there’ll be plenty of time to hit the slides between rounds!

Lazy River 5K

Kick off your running shoes and join us for a unique, first-of-its-kind race at Splash Country Water Park, where we’re turning the famed, aptly-named Lazy River into timed speed course! Walk or run with the current and compete for bragging rights. All registrants receive free admission to enjoy the park after the race!

Cruel Summer Pool Party

We’ve got – “… Ready For It?” – a par-“Tay” at the pool for all you self-described Swifties out there, so get ready to splish, splash and “Shake It Off!” Never in your “Wildest Dreams” could you have imagined an “Enchanted” experience like this! Each guest will receive a Taylor Swift-inspired bracelet upon entry.

Fox Valley Amazing Race

Stamina, smarts, and savvy come into play throughout this four-hour adventure patterned after the popular TV show … with an FVPD twist! Teams of 4 are given a map and sets of clues before they embark on part scavenger hunt/part obstacle course with mental and physical challenges to complete along the way. Registration includes an awards ceremony, post-race celebration with food and drinks, and a T-shirt. New in 2024! Two divisions – Competitive or Recreational, you pick!
